Our gorgeous wisteria blooming in late Spring, early Summer. Gracing our patio pergola which simply drips with these sweet purple flowers. Can't wait to relax under the wisteria canopy while they grace us with thier lovely presence next season.
If you're local to San Diego you may have noticed an adundance of purple swaths covering our local mountains this year. 2024 was epic; the blooms were truly spectacular, and the scent of these gorgeous flowers is equally heavenly-one of my absolute favorites.
Thanks to Julian local Sally Snipes and her daffodil project, these sweet and sunny flowers harken the beginning of Spring. You'll see them scattered in clusters throughout Julian and the surrounding area begining in March. Thank you, Sally for spreading the joy!
Goodbye Summer, hello Fall. Just picked the last of our summer color-zinnias! In addition to a handfull of sunflowers and my experimental peonies (which don't bloom in the first year) zinnias were the first "crop" of flowers I planted and enjoyed all summer long. Goodbye for now-until next summer!
