The Barn serves as a guest residence on the property, offering visitors a peaceful place to stay while enjoying the surrounding landscape and natural setting.

There is plenty of parking at The Barn! Please note Julian does experience seasonal snow so be sure to check road conditions if you will be visiting in the Winter.

Please note that this is a rural property with uneven terrain and natural landscaping. Guests are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear when walking the grounds and to use caution at night.

Julian is a designated dark sky community, meaning outdoor lighting is intentionally limited to preserve the night sky and natural environment. On clear nights, guests can enjoy exceptional stargazing, including views of the Milky Way and surrounding constellations.

Because of this, the property becomes very dark at night.

• Pathways and outdoor areas may have limited lighting
   
• Guests are encouraged to bring a flashlight or use their phone light when walking outside after dark
  
• Please use caution when moving around the grounds at night, especially on uneven terrain
  This quiet, low-light environment is part of what makes the setting so peaceful and unique.

Bloom Julian is located in a rural mountain setting where fire safety is extremely important.

• Outdoor fires and open flames are not permitted on the property. Use of the outdoor fireplace is prohibted during the Summer and early Fall and anytime weather conditions create a high fire risk danger.
   
• Please use caution with candles and never leave them unattended.
   
• In the event of an emergency, call 911.
   
• Additional safety and evacuation information will be provided before arrival.

Bloom Julian is located in a rural, natural setting and is home to a variety of wildlife. Guests may occasionally see deer, rabbits, birds of prey, coyotes, bobcats, snakes, turkey, mountain lions  or other native animals in and around the property.

This is part of the beauty of staying in a quiet mountain environment.

• Keep a safe distance and observe animals quietly
   
• Be especially cautious when walking outside at night
   
• Keep doors closed and food secured to avoid attracting animals
